Mirla endeavors to provide every client with the sensitivity, compassion, and safe space they
need to openly and honestly discuss their struggles without fear of judgement. She is very
intentional in creating a collaborative environment where the client feels heard, supported, and
encouraged throughout their therapeutic process. She believes in equipping the client with
information to enhance insight and providing tools and resources that can assist the client in
achieving their goals for personal growth and development.
Mirla is a multiculturally competent therapist and is bilingual, fluent in both English and
Spanish. She works with adults, couples, adolescents, and children. She specializes in treating
anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, grief, stress, trauma, low
self-esteem, relationship problems, family conflict, and stages of life issues. With more than 25
years of ministerial experience, Mirla also provides a safe space for pastors, missionaries,
ministry wives, pastors’ kids, and missionary kids who may be facing challenging issues and
feeling isolated and alone.
Mirla firmly believes that hope can be found in every difficult and painful life situation. She is
committed to walking alongside her clients in their journey towards self-discovery, emotional
healing, and wellbeing.
